The Grinch
Monday, the 26th, I ushered the last performance of The Grinch at The Old Globe this year. It's the third Grinch I ushered this year. Just like last year, the cast was every bit as fresh and fun on the last show as the first. I enjoyed it each time and the audience came out after the show with big smiles on their face each time. Plus, the other ushers and The Globe staff Mary, Angela, and Mike are all so great to work with.

Sense and Sensibility
A musical adaptation and a very fun show. I also loved the vintage costumes, especially the men's boots. How do I get a pair of those?
Walking to my car afterwards I had to dodge the hordes of people walking around staring at their phones playing Pokemon Go. Ah well, they were outside enjoying the Park on a nice night.

As You Like It
Ushered 'As You Like It' in the White Theater at the Old Globe tonight. It was their MFA program. All of the cast where their graduate students. I ushered row 4 and got to watch the play from the second row in section 5. It was a very good, fun production and I enjoyed it a lot.
This was also the first time I put on my new black jacket and black tie. Amazingly my tie went on right the first time. So I took a quick selfie in the restroom before we had to take our positions.
